Beth’s Pooches and Paws offers a service slightly different to pet sitting that you may be interested in. We also offer pet visits for your dogs, cats and small furry family members. If you are going to be away for a few nights, are busy working from home, or even just need an extra hand to look after them for an hour or two, this could be just what you’re looking for.
This is often a service that is very popular with our feline clients when going away, as we understand how the smallest changes can be very distressing for cats, due to the fact that catteries and kennels just don’t offer the same stability and home comforts that your pets are used to.
Each visit can include feeding them, changing their water, taking them out on walks cleaning/changing any litter and administering any medicine that is necessary. We will also make the effort to get to know your pet and to make them feel completely comfortable around us, most important enjoying some play time and cuddles together if they would like to!
In addition if you are going to be away from home and need a helping hand with any domestic duties, this is also something we are happy to discuss with you, for example watering the plants or keeping an eye out for deliveries.
We will come to your home as many times as you would like us throughout the day, if you are away on a trip then we would recommend coming at least twice a day so we can make sure your pet’s routine can be followed and that they are doing all okay. If you are just going to be out for the day or will be working from home, we can arrange a time that suits you and will fit around your day.
Our visits can vary in time depending on how long you’d like us for. This may be just for a 20 minute drop-in visit in the morning/evening,
but can also go up to the a few hours or more if necessary. You will receive regular updates on your pet and how they are getting on with us on our visits together. If you are going to be away, you will receive a report back every couple of days- with pictures to show you what we got up to and how they’re settling in with us. Communication is something that’s very important to Beth’s Pooches and Paws to make you feel like they’re going to be in the best hands.
We are very happy to offer visits on a regular, ad-hoc or one off basis. This will determine when we will have a free consultation with you, to meet you and your pet and to discuss the requirements for the visit. If it is just going to be a ad-hoc or one off service e.g. for a planned trip away, then we will arrange this nearer to the time so we can make sure any information given is up to date on your pet. If on more of a regular basis, then the consultation will be arranged before we start the regular visits for your pet.

We will visit your pet as many times a day as is needed by you. For our cat and small pet visits the average amount of times is once or twice a day, however we can do more than this if you’d prefer. If you aren’t going to be at home, we would recommend for our canine clients have someone stay with them overnight.
Yes, you will be dedicated to one of our pet sitters for the visits, this will be who you will meet at the pre-arranged consultation before any services commence.
We will ask for a copy of a key to get into your home whilst you’re away, this will be kept in a secure and safe location. We can then give this back to you on your return.
Yes we can provide our pet visiting service on evenings and weekends.
